When I think of Sioux Falls in South Dakota, my little duck heart quacks with joy at the thought of their importance in farming and agriculture. But guess what?
This vibrant city also boasts a treasure trove of artistic acumen, and the community knows how to celebrate its cultural diversity!
One of the highlights of my recent adventure was the amazing Sculpture Walk downtown. A fabulous free outdoor art gallery beckoning you to explore every nook and cranny of the area.
Ingenious, right?

It all started 22 years ago, and once you dip your webbed feet into it, you’ll want to waddle to see every single sculpture.
They’re cleverly placed to ensure you can always spot the next one down the street, so you keep going, and going, and going!
You cross the street, and before you know it, you’ve made a complete loop.

And if you’re eyeing a sculpture to bring home, they’re available at the end of the season at prices ranging from $2,000 to $40,000, with most falling within the sweet spot of $5,000 to $15,000.

I had a splashing good time snapping photos of my favourites! There’s something for everyone, from whimsical colourful birds in a cage to a striking metal bull crafted from reclaimed materials.
