Let me tell you about my latest feather-tastic adventure at Harmy’s Cheese & More in the delightful Osage Beach, Missouri.
I was in town for the 19th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest. This charming shop was destination number 1 for the Passport Run!
As soon as we waddled through the door, the friendly staff greeted us like old pals.
They were positively bubbling with enthusiasm. They helped everyone stamp their passports while making sure we could get back on our adventure without a hitch.
My human?
Oh boy, his eyes lit up the moment he laid eyes on the extraordinary array of local treats!
Imagine a treasure chest filled with over 150 kinds of ooey-gooey Wisconsin cheeses, tantalizing local wines, delightful moonshines, and all sorts of scrumptious goodies!
Just thinking about the sampling made my little rubber wings flutter with excitement!
Did I mention that you can taste almost everything in the store?
Talk about a quack-tastic experience!
And yes, you can sip a refreshing beverage while you browse. What could be better?
Unfortunately, our bikefest itinerary meant my human couldn’t spend as much time soaking in all the cheesy delights as I would have liked.
But trust me, from what I could see, the selection was out-of-this-world. They had sampling stations that would make any foodie’s heart race!
I could almost hear the flavours of the Ozarks singing to us: each sample a delightful melody of taste!
And guess what? Harmy’s Cheese & More had a lovely covered area. It was perfect for kicking back with a drink in hand and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. It’s the ideal spot for cheese lovers and anyone looking to unwind after a day full of biking fun!
While our visit was shorter than I had hoped, I left with a buoyant quack of happiness. I also had a promise to return someday for more cheesy goodness.
And off we went for stop Number 2 of the Passport Run at the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest…stay tuned!
