    Little Brews Café is like a cozy nest built just for hungry adventurers.

    The moment we waddled through the door, the warm aroma of breakfast treats enveloped us. Our rubbery little hearts skipped a beat!

    The staff? Oh, my flippers, they were simply fantastic!

    Bright and cheery, they greeted us with smiles. It felt like sunshine on a warm pond.

    Everyone was so engaging and lively.

    This set the perfect foundation for what was sure to be a day filled with fun and adventure.

    My human wasted no time diving into a plate of biscuits and gravy.

    So rich and creamy that I could practically see the happiness bubbling in his eyes.

    He savoured every bite and sipped on his caffeine fix.

    Let’s be honest, that liquid gold is crucial for kicking off any great day.

    As for me, I soaked in the vibrant atmosphere.

    The fun that was hidden behind that colourful pink canopy is the root of my regret.

    But fear not, my friends; I’m making a splashy promise for 2026: Backwater Jack’s is a must-visit oasis!

    So, why is Backwater Jack’s a rubber duck’s paradise? Let me quack about it!

    First off, Backwater Jack’s is crowned with the title of having the “Best Lakefront Pool” at the Lake of the Ozarks!

    That’s right. According to Missouri Magazine’s “Best of Summer” Awards, this pool trumps all others! And let me tell you, once you dip your toes into that inviting water, you’ll feel the magic!

    Wobbly Boots feels like a cozy nest where hickory-smoked barbecue meets heartwarming hospitality.

    The rustic charm of the place is absolutely delightful!

    From their fall-off-the-bone ribs to mouthwatering pulled pork that could make a duck quack with joy, my rubber taste buds were definitely tingling with excitement.

    But here’s the best part—the BBQ at Wobbly Boots is gloriously messy!

    I mean, I’m a rubber duck, so a little chaos never bothered me!

    Hey there, all you thrill-seekers and fellow adventurers! Dog Days Bar & Grill is our fabulous stop number 5 on the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest Passport run for 2025!

    It was not quite time for lunch yet for our crew, so we were there to collect our stamp and mosey on.

    As soon as I waddled through the doors, I felt like I’d hit a cozy wave of good vibes.

    Dog Days isn’t just any bar; it’s the ultimate waterfront oasis during the September Bike Fest!

    The air was alive with the smell of delicious food. The buzz of laughter was bouncing around like a beach ball.

    You can sense it, this place is built for bikers who know that life should be as enjoyable on land as it is on the road.

    Dog Days has gone all out, adding special entertainment and menu items for Bike Fest.

    Let me tell you, they sure made our taste buds dance, but we had to resist.

    The Old Fashion:

    Not just burgers; they’re flavour-packed gems!

    Two 4-oz. Smash burgers with gooey American cheese and grilled onions on a pillowy, buttery bun. They’re served with a side of pickles and crispy fries. You’ll be quacking for more!

    Hickory Smoked Wings:

    These wings are nothing short of legendary!

    Seasoned with a special house rub, slow-smoked, and tossed in your choice of sauce. Whether you prefer Bourbon BBQ or the fiery Inferno, these wings will take you on a flavour journey!

    Blackened Mahi Tacos:

    A fiesta in every bite!

    Succulent seared mahi joined with crunchy cabbage and zesty pico, all drizzled with creamy jalapeño sauce. With fries on the side, these tacos are a must for any adventurer!

    Buffalo Chicken Nachos:

    Today, I am letting you know about stop two on the Passport Run Lake of the Ozarks 2025.   Shorty Pants Lakeside Cajun in Osage Beach, Missouri, is a sprawling entertainment and dining venue situated on the Lake of the Ozarks, and it turns out to be even more all-encompassing than meets the eye.

    Shorty Pants Lakeside was not our planned lunch stop, but we couldn’t resist stopping for a moment to savour the view and appreciate the ambiance.

    As soon as my human and I hopped off Goldie, the warm smiles of the enthusiastic staff greeted us. It felt like I was being welcomed into an aquatic paradise!

    With my little duck feet barely touching the ground, we lined up to collect our second passport stamp, a little piece of adventure history, if you ask me!

    What a vibrant atmosphere!

    Gorgeous lakeside views that would make even the most seasoned duckling’s heart flutter!

    My human’s eyes lit up at the menu bursting with Cajun flavours.

    Almost as if we had been magically transported to the culinary heart of New Orleans… but here in Missouri! I could practically taste the deliciousness in the air, and I have to say, my human is definitely returning to dive into those mouthwatering dishes!

    Shorty Pants is like an oasis for any weary traveller and an absolute haven for those cruising through the Ozarks.

    Whether you’ve just finished an exhilarating bike ride or you’re pulling up in a boat at their full-service dock, this place has got a little something for everyone.

    The Shorty’s group has it all – from entertainment and dining at Lakeside Cajun to a full-service Shorty’s Marina and cozy Shorty’s Vacation Rentals! What’s not to love?

    Even during our quick visit, I felt the magic of Shorty’s Lakeside Cajun. The laughter, the music, and the beauty of the lake created a backdrop more splendid than a sunny afternoon on the water!

    Although our stay was brief, it left a splash in my heart, and I can’t wait to return for a proper feast and soak up those captivating views!

    We were in the Lake of the Ozarks for the 2025 Bike Fest, busy visiting all the sponsors of the Passport Run! Our latest stop?

    The lively and enchanting Redhead Lakeside Grill!

    This was my third stop on the passport run.

    Let me tell you, even a few minutes there was enough to let me know this place is a treasure worth revisiting!

    As I floated around, I couldn’t resist taking a peek at the Redhead Lakeside Grill menu. Oh boy, it’s a smorgasbord of delights!

    From zesty tacos that tickle your taste buds to a mouthwatering ribeye that could make anyone’s day, this place is a culinary paradise just waiting to be explored.

    But here’s the cherry on top, a swim-up bar!

    That’s right, folks! I’ve seen my fair share of vacation resorts. However, having a swim-up bar right here at the Redhead Lakeside Grill on Lake of the Ozarks?

    Now that’s what I call a splash-tastic way to quench your thirst while enjoying the sunshine!

    But wait, there’s more! The Redhead group isn’t just about grilling up delicious meals.

    Imagine a marina that hosts speedboat champions. There’s also a fancy yacht club that would make any nautical enthusiast swoon. Furthermore, there are snug VRBO rentals for those looking to extend their fun under the sun. It’s a one-stop shop for all things fun and relaxation near Redhead Lakeside Grill.

    Redhead Cove is buzzing with activities galore!

    Although I had to paddle on to the next adventure, I left Redhead Lakeside Grill bubbling with excitement for a return visit.

    It’s definitely a place I’ll be adding to my float list for some scrumptious bites and a splashin’ good time!

    Harmy’s Cheese & More – Osage Beach, Missouri

    Let me tell you about my latest feather-tastic adventure at Harmy’s Cheese & More in the delightful Osage Beach, Missouri.

    I was in town for the 19th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest. This charming shop was destination number 1 for the Passport Run!

    As soon as we waddled through the door, the friendly staff greeted us like old pals.

    They were positively bubbling with enthusiasm. They helped everyone stamp their passports while making sure we could get back on our adventure without a hitch.

    My human?

    Oh boy, his eyes lit up the moment he laid eyes on the extraordinary array of local treats!

    Imagine a treasure chest filled with over 150 kinds of ooey-gooey Wisconsin cheeses, tantalizing local wines, delightful moonshines, and all sorts of scrumptious goodies!

    Just thinking about the sampling made my little rubber wings flutter with excitement!

    Did I mention that you can taste almost everything in the store?

    Talk about a quack-tastic experience!

    And yes, you can sip a refreshing beverage while you browse. What could be better?

    Unfortunately, our bikefest itinerary meant my human couldn’t spend as much time soaking in all the cheesy delights as I would have liked.

    But trust me, from what I could see, the selection was out-of-this-world. They had sampling stations that would make any foodie’s heart race!

    I could almost hear the flavours of the Ozarks singing to us: each sample a delightful melody of taste!

    And guess what? Harmy’s Cheese & More had a lovely covered area. It was perfect for kicking back with a drink in hand and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. It’s the ideal spot for cheese lovers and anyone looking to unwind after a day full of biking fun!

    While our visit was shorter than I had hoped, I left with a buoyant quack of happiness. I also had a promise to return someday for more cheesy goodness.

    And off we went for stop Number 2 of the Passport Run at the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest…stay tuned!
