Hey there, all you feathered friends and fellow duck aficionados! It’s your buddy Bob the Rubber Duck here, ready to dive into my latest scrumptious dining escapade at The Saint Restaurant right in the heart of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Accompanying me were my human and her daughter, and oh boy, were we ready to make a splash!

From the moment we waddled through those welcoming doors, it felt like we were entering a cozy nest of warmth and charm.

The friendly staff greeted us with beaming smiles, ensuring even a rubber buddy like me felt at home!

But wait, here comes the best part!
Ravi Ramberran, the owner and master of this delightful domain, drifted over to say hello.
He shared a bit about his inspiring journey as a restaurateur, and can you believe it?
This is his fourth culinary venture in Winnipeg!
Each restaurant boasts its unique flair, and I must say, The Saint wears it fabulously.

“I wanted to create a restaurant where I’d love to hang out,” Ravi shared. “And I think I’ve nailed it!
This place doesn’t feel like any ordinary bar; it’s a classy joint where everyone can kick back and enjoy.” It’s clear he has a passion for the St James area of Winnipeg, where he also runs Dreamland and St James Burger, as well as the Four Crown Restaurant on McPhillips Street.

Now, let’s waddle deeper into the atmosphere of The Saint. The name might give off serene vibes, but don’t be fooled!
The tables are practically itching for a dance party, yes, you heard me right!

And for those feeling a little daring, the VLTs are on-site for a dash of excitement. It’s the perfect blend of classy and fun!
Speaking of fun, let’s chat about the menu! It’s a true feast for the senses. For lunch and dinner, the options are abundant, and the creative cocktails are just as tempting.

On the night of our visit, we were thrilled to join in one of The Saint’s pop-up events featuring The Raw Oyster Company, serving up the freshest East Coast seafood.

I could almost taste the ocean breeze!

We couldn’t resist adding crispy, breaded mushrooms to our order, and let me tell you, they were a delicious treat that had us quacking with glee!
One of the humans tried a unique twist on a classic Caesar: this one had a zesty pineapple juice base. It was a refreshing surprise that was utterly delightful.

And my other human sipped on a lovely glass of red wine, which, thanks to half-price wine night, made for a perfect ending to our meal!

What truly impressed me about The Saint, aside from the scrumptious food, was Ravi’s noble mission:
“To support local businesses and talents, give back to our Winnipeg community, and create a safe, ego-free atmosphere for all our guests, all while serving up top-notch food and drinks in a fun vibe!”
They live by their mission, actively giving back to the community and supporting many local initiatives.

They live by their mission through the attentive and friendly staff, who ensure everyone receives excellent service, while creating an atmosphere as inviting as a sunny pond.

In a nutshell, our time at The Saint was nothing short of remarkable, filled with delectable dishes and vibrant vibes.

You should drop by and bring your dancing shoes!
