Another day riding along the scenic, winding highways around Roosevelt Lake, Arizona, absorbing the stunning views of the lake, bridge and the mighty dam.
My humans suddenly felt a rumble in their bellies as we spotted FFinch’s Kitchen and Bar.
They turned Goldie around on a dime, and we were headed for lunch right by the water!
With a name like that, it promised a delightful experience, and boy, did it deliver!
Even though we had opted to sit inside, we couldn’t help but check out the awesome outdoor entertainment area!
We were greeted by a fun atmosphere filled with laughter and the sound of clinking glasses.
The patio was lined with plenty of seating, offered an incredible view of the lake, and featured several yard games.
It felt like a welcoming backyard party where everyone was invited to stay a while.
Our food choices made their way to our table quicker than you can say rubber ducky!
To kick things off, my humans shared a big platter of soft, warm pretzel bites.
They looked delicious!
Then for the main event!
One of my humans went for a fully loaded taco salad, piled high with toppings, quite the impressive sight!
He said it tasted great, but he couldn’t quite clean his plate.
The other human ordered fish and chips, and oh my, it tasted as if it had just come out of the lake!
Crispy, golden, and served with a tangy tartar sauce, it was the perfect meal to savour by the water.
On our way out, we couldn’t help but stop by a fun arcade area!
I begged my humans to set one of my friends free…but they said one duck is enough for any bike!
Our visit to FFinch’s wasn’t just about satisfying our hunger.
