Bob here with tales of my latest fantastic stay at the Best Western. This time in Watertown, South Dakota!
My human and I made this delightful detour on our way to the legendary Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and oh, what an experience it was!
From the moment we waddled into the lobby, I was blown away by the warm welcome. We received friendly smiles from the staff that felt like a warm hug after a long day on the road. It’s not every day you find a team that genuinely cares. However, this crew hit all the right notes!

My human and I had all the space we needed to stretch our flippers and unwind.
The room was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we could wish for. This was so reassuring when you’re travelling with all your adventure gear. Seriously, nothing beats arriving at your overnight hotel choice to find it exactly as you expected.
At the Best Western Watertown, the pool area was splash-tastic!
This hotel had not one but three separate pools, depending on your preference. You could swim, wade, or slide. Just imagine arriving with your family and finding a thrilling water slide. There is also a bubbling hot tub, and even a water playhouse!
The little humans would be over the moon! Sadly, my human wasn’t feeling the swim vibe after our long ride. So, I had to content myself with daydreams of belly flops and cannonballs. After all that road time, he wanted to shower off, kick back, and grab a bite to munch on instead.
After a comfy, restful night, we awoke to the enticing aroma of breakfast drifting into our room. As you know, a good breakfast can set the stage for an epic day of adventure. Best Western Watertown delivered with a breakfast spread that was fit for a duck! We feasted on deliciousness, fueling up for our day ahead.
