Bob here to quack about my spooky BOBortunity to A Maze in Corn near St. Adolphe, Manitoba.

I recently hitched a ride with my mini humans for a fall adventure filled with towering corn, friendly farm animals, gigantic hay bales and a few spine-tingling surprises.

Our first mission was the famous corn maze.

With paths twisting in every direction and cornstalks rising high above my little yellow head, I was certain we would be wandering until winter.

Somehow, my mini humans raced through it in record time.

Either they were expert maze explorers, or they moved quickly because they knew what was waiting for us next: the Haunted Forest!
Once inside the forest, mysterious creatures appeared among the trees with plenty of spooky sounds and haunting humour.
My mini humans were brave. I, of course, remained safely tucked under an arm and provided expert navigational quacks.

We skipped the petting zoo because of the long lineup, but we still found time to visit the horses and pigs.

The horses were lovely, but one curious pig mistook me for lunch!

I narrowly escaped becoming a rubber-duck snack!

Before quickly waddling over to the giant hay-bale pyramid.
The mini humans had a blast climbing and romping through more than 300 bales of hay.
There is plenty more to enjoy during the fall season.

Earlier in the season, the Sunflower Expo fills eight acres with brilliant blooms!
Photo opportunities and flowers that visitors can cut and arrange into their own bouquets.

When winter arrives, the corn maze gives way to the famous Snow Maze.

Complete with snow buildings, artist-carved sculptures, tubing on Snow Mountain, warming fires, mini donuts and weekend sleigh rides.
And in February, visitors can even dine at The Den, a restaurant carved from approximately 500,000 pounds of snow.
Here is a fun bit of Manitoba history from this well-travelled duck: the Snow Maze earned a Guinness World Record in 2019 after measuring more than 30,000 square feet, making it the world’s largest snow maze at the time.
What a quacking great all season BOBortunity!

Gofor the corn maze, brave the Haunted Forest, climb the hay bales and visit the animals.
Then return in winter to experience the Snow Maze.

Just remember to keep a close eye on those hungry pigs!
