Hey there, fellow adventure lovers! Bob here, excited to share my latest motel experience at The Sturgis Motel in Sturgis, South Dakota. My human and I made the trip down from Winnipeg to meet up with the Support Bikers crew and make memories during the Legendary 85th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The worst part of travelling is not being able to sleep in your own comfy nest every night…But The Sturgis Motel, with Rhonda at the helm, bridged the gap beautifully. This visit was not my first at The Sturgis Hotel, so my expectations were very high, and once again, I was not disappointed.
From the moment I arrived, Rhonda welcomed me with such warmth and friendliness that it felt like I was visiting an old friend! She was very busy with all the riders descending upon Sturgis, but she took the time to share a laugh and make sure I was nestled down for my stay.
Now, let’s talk about the room. My room was so spacious, my human was able to share with a fellow rider who had missed booking for enough nights.
The ultra-cozy bed was a perfect place for my human to stretch out and easily drift off for a much-needed rest after the long ride to Sturgis.
Everything was spotless and quiet, making it a lovely little retreat after all the daily excitement of the rally.
An appreciated convenience feature of The Sturgis Motel is the on-site laundry facilities. Travelling by motorcycle is terrific, but it leaves little room for extra clothing. After a day of riding along the beautiful highways, my human being able to clean up his gear is such a treat.
Rhonda really went the extra mile for all her guests during the rally. On top of her usual care, every morning, she arrived with a full breakfast on hand that would make anyone’s mouth water!
Thick stacks of fluffy pancakes, perfectly scrambled eggs, and crispy sausages, all made fresh to fuel those eager riders gearing up for another day of rally rides and festivities.
I have no idea how she made the time to prepare all this food, but it was a delicious start to our day!
The Sturgis Motel is more than just a place to sleep; it’s a welcoming stop for anyone looking to dive into the thrilling atmosphere of the rally and explore the stunning Black Hills.
With Rhonda’s incredible hospitality, the spacious and comfortable rooms, and the handy laundry, it’s a perfect spot for adventurers, a true treasure right in the heart of Sturgis!
