Imagine the thrill as we set out on an early Wednesday morning, the air buzzing with anticipation. My adventure-loving pals had a surprise in store for me: we were headed to The Squatch. In the heart of Big Foot territory, could it be that we were about to stumble upon the elusive creature? The excitement was palpable, and my little duck heart raced with the thrill of the unknown!
Before the trip, I did some detective work and uncovered a treasure trove of documented sightings of Sasquatch reaching back to 1851, right in Arkansas! From police reports to captivating books, to YouTube posts, and even movies, the lore of this mysterious, towering behemoth had my feathers ruffled. The thought of a creature standing a whopping seven feet tall, cloaked in dark, shaggy hair and sporting enormous feet. Twenty-four inches of pure mystery sends shivers down my spine! No wonder they call him Big Foot!
Feeling a mix of nervous energy and curiosity, I hopped into my human’s arms and set off on this daring expedition. We walked a mere 100 feet from The Trails Inn hotel. Then, we crossed the street, and, lo and behold, there it was, hanging above the door of a charming breakfast spot: THE SQUATCH.
As we sat around a cozy table, the air filled with the aroma of mouthwatering biscuits and gravy. We found ourselves amid a lively debate. Each friend brought their own perspective on the existence of Sasquatch, sparking hearty laughs and lively discussions. But one thing we could all agree on was that the food and service at The Squatch were top-notch. This made it a must-visit on any Eureka Springs itinerary.
