Bob here, fresh from an exciting pit stop at the Route 66 Casino and Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico!
We were on a long journey from Lincoln, Nebraska, to Apache Junction, Arizona, with Goldie in tow.
Route 66 Casino and Hotel was the perfect break for my humans and me; big shout-out to our fantastic Canadian friends who recommended it!
The spacious and comfy rooms are impressive.
Plenty of room to stretch my little wings, and the relaxation was just what we needed.
It was everything a rubber duck could desire!
My humans appreciated the cozy accommodations, allowing a great wind down for the night.
Now, let’s talk about the casino!
My humans and I ventured in to try our luck.
Let’s just say our take-home loot wasn’t exactly a winning jackpot.
Even so, we had a great time!
The next morning, we woke up early, excited and refreshed, ready to arrive in Apache Junction.
After a quick breakfast, we jumped back on board, the sun shining on our path ahead.
Little did I know that the high elevation would make me bloat, creating a round bottom to rock along the highway!
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay on our road trip!
