    And let’s talk about the server, he greeted us with a friendly smile and an enthusiastic “Hola!”.

    It was clear; we landed in a place brimming with the spirit of Mexico. A truly authentic Mexican restaurant experience!

    You know I’m always in search of delicious escapades! The menu did not disappoint with a dazzling array of mouthwatering choices.

    Tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and sizzling fajitas twirled in my imagination like a lively mariachi band!

    My humans couldn’t resist the call of the fajitas. Each selected their protein to make the experience uniquely theirs at this Senor Barrigas.

    While our taste buds eagerly awaited the fajitas’ grand entrance, we were treated to the restaurant’s legendary tortilla chips and salsa.

    Oh boy! Those crunchy, golden chips, paired with a salsa that packed just the right punch, set our taste buds doing the tango!

    And let’s not skip over the showstopping house-made guacamole: a creamy, dreamy delight that made me giggle with joy!

    Then came the true magic show! Our sizzling fajitas arrived, bubbling and aromatic, with tender steak and seafood. They melted in my little rubber beak!

    The fresh, crisp veggies and vibrant spices danced together. This created a flavour explosion that sent my taste buds into a delightful frenzy.

    Wrapped in warm tortillas and served with zesty salsa and all the fixings, I felt like I had drifted straight into a culinary paradise! At Senor Barrigas, each bite felt like a little festival of flavours. Even my humans couldn’t help but join in the chorus of

    Paddling my way to Toad Holler, I am greeted by a stunning view from atop a hill. It overlooked a lovely golf course that seemed to stretch endlessly.

    Floating toward the entrance, I am whisked away into a whimsical wonderland. Shadowboxes proudly display local hunting trophies and memorabilia.

    It felt a bit like slipping into a friendly man cave mixed with a community museum.

    Gotta tell you, I was a little nervous being a duck!

    Toad Holler’s story is just as intriguing as its décor!

    The brainchildren behind this culinary marvel, Nathan Livengood and Jason Finney, originally set out to create jams and jellies from their garden bounty. Realizing success with their scrumptious spreads, they decided, why not embark on a full-blown restaurant?! 

    And just like that, Toad Holler Bar and Grill was born. Committed to dishing up fresh, preservative-free meals, they make everyone’s taste buds dance with delight!

    Now, let’s dive into the scrumptious menu! I couldn’t resist trying the Holler Cheesesteak – a classic sure to make any quacking duck swoon! Piled high with tender, juicy meat and melty cheese with just enough zing to keep me floating back for more.

    And then came the star of the show: the Sourdough Burger! It was crispy on the outside with a juicy center that made my little rubber heart flutter. Every bite was a flavour explosion, bursting with fresh local ingredients. It genuinely made me feel connected to this fantastic community!
