    The Trails Inn Motel – Eureka Springs, Arkansas

    Hello, fellow travellers! It’s me, Bob the Rubber Duck, and I’m here to share my floaty experience at The Trails Inn in beautiful Eureka Springs, Arkansas. As I bob along in the charming atmosphere of this cozy motel, I can truly feel the heart and soul poured into it by the family who owns and operates it. Their motto, “We make you feel at home,” is not just words but a delightful reality!  There is nothing more satisfying than a home away from home when you are on the road.

    The Trails Inn offers a perfect spot for guests visiting the area who are out and about all day. They want a worry-free place to nest for the night…or for many nights.  We were recently in the area for Badger Bash 2025. Sonny and Angie had established The Trails Inn as the home base for the crew and any attendees who chose to book.

    The rooms were nothing short of sparkling clean and contained everything we needed for the night. This was especially appreciated when we returned from exploring!

    The cozy and quiet environment both in the room and on the property was ideal. It provided every opportunity to unwind after a day of exhilarating adventures.

    My favourite spot, of course, was the full-sized pool…who does not like to paddle around in the water to cool down? 

    The humans took full advantage of the pool and the spacious deck. They would meet after dinner and share stories of the day. 

    The family vibe here is not just a slogan; it’s a way of life. The owners are on site from early in the morning, making their guests feel like part of the family. This is evident in all the thoughtful amenities they provide. From the delightful continental breakfast featuring coffee, juice, and muffins to the attention they pay in maintaining the property. It’s clear they take pride in their business.

    When it comes to dining out, guests of The Trails Inn are in for a treat! There are fabulous restaurants nearby that cater to every taste bud. Whether you’re in the mood for a

    a hearty breakfast at The Squatch

    a home-style lunch at The Filling Station

    an evening indulgence at Sip N Dippity

    or an Irish themed dinner and beverage at Mc Garity’s Restaurant and Saloon

    you won’t be disappointed. All these delicious options are just a hop, skip, and a jump away!

    As if that wasn’t enough, The Trails Inn is conveniently located on the trolley line. This makes it a stress-free experience for you to explore all that Eureka Springs has to offer. Just hop on and let the tram take you to the incredible sights, sounds, and experiences this charming town presents!

    So, if you’re looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay with all the amenities you could want, look no further than The Trails Inn. I may be a rubber duck, but I can tell you this place will float your boat! Come and visit, and prepare to feel at home.

    Best Western Windsor Suites – Fayetteville, Arkansas

    Bob here, ready to splash into my floaty adventure at the Best Western Windsor Suites in Fayetteville, Arkansas!

    On our way to the exciting Badger Bash in Eureka Springs, we chose this lovely hotel for an overnight stay, and let me tell you, it was the perfect pit stop!

    We arrived much earlier than the usual check-in time, but the welcoming staff were absolutely incredible.

    They immediately made us feel right at home by accommodating us with a cozy spot in the lobby while they hustled to get our room ready.

    Their friendliness set the tone for our stay and had me feeling quite special as a rubber duck!

    The Best Western itself was a delight. You could see the immaculate care they take of the hotel, everything was spotless!

    The grounds were adorned with beautiful greenery, meticulously sculpted to create a serene atmosphere that reminded me of a spa retreat.

    As I floated around the property, I enjoyed the peaceful vibe, perfect for a bit of rubber duckie relaxation.

    After a hot June day of riding, nothing felt better than taking a refreshing dip in the pool!

    It was the ideal way to unwind after a long day of travel.

    The comfy seating options around the pool were perfect for lounging and soaking up the ambiance.

    When it came to food, we were thrilled to find a variety of great dining options just a short drive away.

    After our swim, we decided to order takeout from Hugo’s, savouring some tasty dishes that made our stop even more enjoyable.

    Finally, it was time to settle down for the night.

    We melted into the oh so comfy bed as we prepared for an early start to meet up with the Badgers first thing in the morning in Eureka Springs.

    Unfortunately, our planned departure time was before the complimentary breakfast at the Best Western Windsor Suites.

    Still, I would bet my yellow feathers that it was as amazing as the rest of our experience.

    Best Western Windsor Suites displayed outstanding hospitality, immaculate facilities, and beautiful surroundings.

    It’s a shining example of what a great hotel stay should be like.

    Whether you’re just passing through or planning to explore Fayetteville, this place is definitely a gem.
