Bob here to bring you to an ice cream parlour far from the strip in Vegas: Up In Scoops!
As I waddled around the glitzy Vegas Strip and Fremont Street, I couldn’t help but be amazed!
The bustling Strip dazzled with lights and sounds.
My humans and I decided it was high time for a sweet respite.
We ventured off the beaten path, searching for the perfect ice cream oasis.
That’s when we stumbled upon Up In Scoops, a delightful little ice cream parlour that felt like a portal to the past!
The moment I waddled inside, it was like diving into a time machine filled with all the groovy vibes of the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
The walls were adorned with memorabilia that celebrated all forms of retro entertainment.
From Hans Solo encased in carbonite to the Sandy Olsson’s leather jacket. It was a mini-museum that made my little duck heart flutter.
Even Homer peeked out at us from a wall of shrubs!
I could almost hear the sweet sounds of Boomboxes and vinyl spinning all around me!
The owner greeted us with so much warmth that I felt like a long-lost friend.
It was a treat to soak in her vibrant energy and infectious passion for entertainment from those decades.
With a twinkle in her eye, she cheekily suggested we check out the bathrooms.
They were decked out in hilarious toilet memorabilia from classic movie scenes.
Trust me, they were worth a peek!
As we meandered through this wonderland, I found it hard to concentrate on the important stuff, like, where’s the ice cream?
So many vibrant displays of nostalgia were pulling me in every direction!
But after soaking in all that retro goodness, we finally made our way to the counter.
My humans had a hard time deciding.
Finally, one went for the rich salted caramel, while the other opted for a delightful mix of butter pecan and chocolate.
Oh boy, did I wish I could indulge in those luscious flavours!
To add to the nostalgia, our table was covered in vintage Teen magazines, oh, the stories my humans shared!
They relived their childhood crushes and the fads, giggling over covers that took them back in time.
Up In Scoops turned out to be far more than just a pit stop for cool treats; it became an unexpected fun-filled wonderland!
Who knew that a simple quest for ice cream could wrap us in such cozy nostalgia and laughter – ONLY IN VEGAS!
