    I had the fantastic opportunity to dive into Neon Taco as stop number 14 on the Passport Run during the thrilling Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest 2025. 

    We were travelling with several other members of the Support Bikers crew on a mission to collect our passport stamps. The Neon Taco was not our lunch or dinner stop for the day.  However, it was an experience I won’t soon forget!

    Picture a vibrant taco paradise right by the shimmering lake, bursting with energy!

    Neon Taco isn’t just an eatery; it’s a lively party spot where every corner shimmers with colourful décor and dazzling neon lights.

    Nestled above the glistening waters of the legendary Bagnell Dam Strip, this place practically screams Celebrate!

    Neon Taco exudes a vibrant, fun atmosphere paired with aromas that would suggest mouthwatering cuisine.

    This colourful taqueria serves up expertly prepared tacos, supporting its reputation as the best Mexican cuisine on the lake!

    The menu is an explosion of colours and tastes.

    Each taco is crafted with fresh ingredients and bold flavours, making every bite a true celebration of Mexican cuisine.

    From classic street-style options to unique and innovative creations

    No one leaves Neon Taco without a satisfied belly and a smile worthy of a quack!

    I could see fellow bikers and multi-generational patrons enjoying their delicious choices, all with grins as big as mine!

    The atmosphere was electric: filled with joyful laughter, spirited cheers, and the irresistible aroma of fresh tacos.

    The owners have truly created something special, fostering a welcoming, vibrant locale for locals and visitors alike.

    With such bright decorations and an exhilarating atmosphere, it’s no wonder Neon Taco has become a beloved fixture in the Lake Ozark community, especially among my biker pals!

    As I floated away from Neon Taco, a wave of excitement swept over me for future visits.

    With its delightful atmosphere, mouthwatering menu, and unbeatable community spirit, there’s no doubt my next taco adventure will be even more fabulous at Bikefest 2026!

    Horny Toad Entertainment Complex – Lake Ozark, Missouri

    The Horny Toad Entertainment Complex in Lake Ozark, Missouri, is an absolute gem that perfectly captures the vibrant spirit of Bike Fest!

    As stop 12 on our Passport Run during the 2025 festivities, it provided a lively backdrop for our group, led by the ever-enthusiastic Badgers from Support Bikers.

    Upon arrival, the energy was infectious!

    The Horny Toad is renowned for its laid-back atmosphere.

    You could see that it was the perfect spot for bikers and enthusiasts to unwind during a day of cruising.

    With fun decor and an inviting vibe, it felt like a home away from home.

    The Horny Toad Entertainment Complex originated as a waterfront bar.

    Today it is a multifaceted venue that includes H. Toad’s Bar & Grill, Toad Island restaurant, stage entertainment, yacht club, marina,

    Camden on the Lake Resort and Spa – the list goes on.

    One of the highlights was definitely the chance to connect with familiar faces and make new friends.

    The camaraderie in the air was palpable: everyone was united by their love for riding and the thrill of the festival.

    Capturing the moment, we eagerly gathered our stamps, marking yet another spot on our epic journey.

    The complex and its surrounding booths buzzed with laughter and camaraderie as fellow riders gathered.

    We shared stories and celebrated the thrill of the day.

    It was hard not to get swept up in the good times and stick around for the day.

    But the road beckoned, and we answered the call.

    As we wrapped up our visit, the charm of the Horny Toad left a lasting impression.

    With its perfect blend of entertainment, community spirit, and Bike Fest excitement,

    It’s easy to see why this spot is a must-visit for anyone attending.

    We left with smiles on our faces and already talked about making another stop next year. Who knows what fun awaits at the Horny Toad!

    Shady Gators – Lake Ozark, Missouri

    Bob, reporting from the lively shores of Lake Ozark! Today, I’m bubbling over with excitement to share all about our delightful 11th stop of the Passport Run at Shady Gators during the legendary Lake of the Ozarks Bike Fest 2025.

    Buckle up, or in my case, buckle down, because this was our 11th stop, and wow, what a splash it made!

    Right as we waddled through the doors, we were greeted with a wave of warmth and friendliness that would make even the grumpiest gator smile!

    The staff welcomed us with beaming smiles, making us feel as cozy as a duck nestled in a warm pond.

    After snagging our passport stamp we settled in for a feast that would make any duck’s beak water!

    My human dove into a vibrant garden salad topped with succulent grilled shrimp, bursting with flavour that danced on the taste buds like a happy little duckling in the sun.

    Meanwhile, another companion went for the epic Philly sandwich, paired with a side of crispy tater tots that looked simply irresistible.

    Every bite seemed to echo joyful quacks around the table, and I knew we were all experiencing something special.

    But what’s Shady Gators without a sprinkle of history?

    This hidden gem has been a local treasure for over 18 years, with an atmosphere so lively, it feels like the place has its own heartbeat!

    Located near the shimmering waters, this spot embodies the spirit of community, creatively weaving local flavours into a menu boasting over 100 tasty items.

    This is the kind of place where friends and families gather to create unforgettable memories, just the vibe we needed amidst our epic bike rally!

    And hold on to your floaties because Shady Gators isn’t just about delicious grub!

    They also offer private events, boat rentals, and even luxurious yacht charters for those wanting to cruise the lake in style. Talk about living the dream!

    So whether you’re a local quacker or just visiting, I can’t recommend Shady Gators enough.

    It’s not just a meal; it’s a joyous experience, one that has filled my rubber heart with warmth and laughter.

    The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar – Lake Ozark, Missouri

    My human and I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Encore. We were there to collect our 10th stamp during the Passport Run at Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest 2025.

    It was nothing short of impressive!

    The story of The Encore is one of ambition and creativity, sparked by the vision of owners Merlyn and Dawn Vandervort.

    Nestled alongside the sparkling waters of Lake Ozark, The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar has carved out a reputation as a premier entertainment destination in Missouri.

    Since opening its doors in November 2021, this 50,000-square-foot mega complex has transformed into a vibrant hub of dining and entertainment. Imagine multiple bars, a lakeside amphitheatre, and three thrilling entertainment stages!

    It’s a place where casual hangouts seamlessly turn into unforgettable celebrations, and I was thrilled to be a part of it!

    As I floated by, the atmosphere was electric! Laughter and cheers filled the air as visitors sipped on cocktails at the rooftop Sky Bar, soaking in the fabulous views.

    And oh, the menu!

    While we didn’t get to taste it ourselves, we could sense the culinary magic wafting through the air. It ranged from comfort food that warms the soul to exquisite fine dining tempting every palate. With its flexibility in hosting weddings and special events, The Encore is truly a gem for any occasion.

    One thing that really stood out during my short visit was the incredible staff.

    They were bustling around with enthusiasm, obviously proud of the exceptional service they provided.

    Although I didn’t get to bask by the adult-only lakeside pool or enjoy the swim-up bar.

    A rubber duck can dream!

    The dedication of the team was palpable. It made us feel special even though we were only collecting a stamp.

    Over the years, The Encore has proudly played a role in the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest, welcoming bikers and entertainers with open flippers!

    Fun fact: the owners helped kick off the Bikefest back in 2007! Can you imagine how great it must feel to bring a vision to life?

    Here I am, 18 years later, floating along the sidelines of all the roaring excitement as over 150,000 bikes descend upon the area! Talk about a party!

    The Encore is like the heartbeat of Bikefest, serving as both a passport stop and a lively vendor village.

    Picture this: incredible concerts and jaw-dropping motorcycle stunt shows featuring the daring Globe of Death riders! Just imagining those brave souls zipping around in that giant ball made my little rubber heart race!

    And let’s not forget the Cycle Showcase, a stunning custom motorcycle museum right there in the Event Center. Oh, the gleaming machines I admired as I drifted on by!

    With its lively atmosphere, scrumptious menu, and top-tier entertainment, it’s no surprise that The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar stands out in the Lake Ozark area.

    As I took my leave, I couldn’t shake the feeling of wanting to return to explore every nook and cranny of The Encore.

    Next time, I’ll be sure to plan for a longer stay. I can imagine all the delightful adventures waiting for me at this fantastic venue!
