Bob here, ready to paddle through some delicious tales from my recent adventure at Arris’ Pizza Palace in Jefferson City, Missouri! The Badgers from Support Bikers suggested this charming pizza haven as the perfect lunch stop before we revved our engines to Lake of the Ozarks for Bikefest 2025. And oh boy, did this place have a story to tell!

Arris’ Pizza Palace has been a beloved gem in Jefferson City since 1961—a time when pizza was as rare as a rubber duck out of the bathtub!
Families were on the hunt for cozy spots to gather and share good food and laughter, and that’s where our Arris Pardalos swoops in!
Born in 1935 near Mount Olympus in Greece, Arris was a pizza wizard bursting with scrumptious recipes and a welcoming spirit.
He dreamed of finding a community that would embrace his vision and provide a great community in which to raise his family. What better place than Jefferson City?
He set up shop in a quaint little building at 117 West High Street, just a hop from the old movie theatre and down the street from the Capitol building.
While that theatre has since become a parking lot, the memories of folks munching on hot pizza after a show still flutter in the air like a gentle breeze.
Fast forward a few decades, and Arris’ Pizza Palace has expanded to three buildings, seating a whopping 200 eager diners!
The capacity is not the only thing that has expanded over the years…take a look at the menu transformation from 1961 to today!
Now, let’s swim right into that main attraction: the food!
The buffet was a sight to behold! It is a treasure trove of crispy, cheesy pizzas, fresh salads as vibrant as a summer garden, and sides that dance with flavour.
My human waddled his way through endless choices until he could barely waddle out to his bike.
There was no room left for dessert!
The icing on the cake for our visit was the incredible staff!
Their smiles were brighter than a sunny day, and their service was quicker than a duck on a pond! Each time they glided over to our table, it felt like being surrounded by friends, turning our meal into a joyous celebration. I couldn’t help but float with delight!
Even though the building, decor and menu have modernized, Arris’ has maintained the quality and ambiance, leading to its ongoing success!
Arris’ Pizza Palace is a local legend, attracting pizza lovers from all over the Midwest. And here’s a fun twist: when you visit, you can take home a “half-baked souvenir!” That’s right! You can snag an Arris pizza to bake later; it has become so popular that it is shipped across the nation to spread the love far and wide!
