Ahoy there, my adventurous pals! It’s your favourite quacking companion, Bob the Rubber Duck, here to recount my latest playful escapade at the fabulous Blue Moose Bar and Grill in Grand Forks, Minnesota!
We rolled into town, hearts bubbling with excitement for the Parker McCollum, and what better way to fuel our energy for the night than with a scrumptious meal at this charming local gem?

Right from the start, we were greeted by the star attraction: a whimsical blue moose proudly standing at the entrance!

With its quirky charm, this iconic creature set the stage for a delightful culinary journey.

It’s hard not to smile surrounded by such vibrant decor; the atmosphere wrapped around us like a cozy blanket, as warm and inviting as a sunny pond!

Did you know the Blue Moose has been a beloved fixture in Grand Forks since 1994?

They relocated to their current spot after that big old flood tried to rain on their parade, but they bounced back better than ever with a menu full of American classics, whimsical decor, and a welcoming vibe that feels like a friendly hug!
Now, hold onto your duck feathers, when we arrived, there was a lively line stretching out the door!
Excited diners were ready for the magical 11:00 opening, just like eager ducks anticipating their joyful splash in the water.

And oh boy, the Blue Moose didn’t let us down!

The speedy crew whisked us inside faster than I can paddle my tiny feet, ensuring our feasting adventure got underway without a hitch!
On to the American Classics menu! So many great choices!
To kick off our feast, one human friend dove into a glorious bowl of French onion soup.
Let me tell you, it was a sensational symphony of flavour! Rich, savoury goodness topped with a gooey blanket of melted cheese, pure bliss!

Meanwhile, the other human was happily indulging in the house-made Spinach Con Queso dip, paired with crispy tortilla chips and fresh veggies.
Talk about creamy deliciousness! She just had to share, and it made me quack with joy! Fun fact: the Spinach Con Queso has been a fan-favourite since nearly the restaurant’s opening!
And then – drumroll, please – came the main event!
One of my human companions chose the irresistible Blackened Steak Caesar Salad.
A colourful feast that danced on my taste buds like a duckling on a happy chase.

The other opted for a truly Northland classic: Walleye Fingers, a signature dish from The Blue Moose.
She paired it with the ultimate comfort food, mini mac and cheese, crafted from their cherished four-cheese recipe. Every bite was like a jubilant gala in our mouths, leaving us grinning like the cheeriest ducks basking in a patch of golden sunlight!
If you ever find yourself paddling through Grand Forks, keep your eyes peeled for this delightful destination!

With a menu as inviting as a gentle summer breeze, the Blue Moose promises an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you quacking for more!
