Ahoy there, fellow adventurers! Bob here with a tale that’ll make you quack with excitement! Get ready to join me on our extraordinary experience at the Whiskey Jack Restaurant and Tavern. Whiskey Jack is an enchanting gem hidden in the magnificent Ontario wilderness near Perrault Falls.
It was a beautiful, sun-soaked Winnipeg morning as we revved up our trusty motorbikes.
We hit the open road, cruising down the Trans-Canada Highway, which guided us to the infamous Highway 105. Talk about a motorcycle lover’s paradise: twisting roads, breathtaking scenery, and the exhilarating thrill of the ride with my band of biker buddies!
Our spirited crew of nine adventurous bikers barreled down that highway. The intoxicating scent of fresh pine refreshing our senses.
The epic ride led us to The Whiskey Jack, a haven that feels like a warm embrace in the midst of Mother Nature!
As we settled in, the delicious aromas wafting from the smokers teased our taste buds with promises of BBQ delights.
We dove headfirst into a feast that would leave anyone quacking with joy!
Our orders spanned the full array of smoked greatness from the menu.

and turkey
It was like a savoury symphony on our plates!
My fellow humans couldn’t stop raving about how tender and flavorful the meat was. Let me tell you, these humans know how to treat themselves right!
But hold on there, it doesn’t end with just meat. The sides were a backyard BBQ lover’s dream come true: homemade fries, perogies, zesty coleslaw, you name it! If you can picture it at a family BBQ, it’s on the menu!
A couple of my human pals decided to up the ante with divine Caesar cocktails and a nice glass of red wine.
Quack-tastic shout-out to the fantastic lady who took such great care of us during our visit! From the moment we waddled in, she was an absolute delight.
Her knowledge was like a treasure chest, overflowing with fascinating tidbits. Meanwhile, her witty banter added a sprinkle of magic to our meals that made my little rubber heart soar!
The dynamic duo behind this fantastic spot, Graham and Laura McDonald, have worked wonders since taking the reins in 2011.
They’ve transformed a passion for the Perrault Falls area, Canadian musicians, and great homemade food into a memorable experience that keeps patrons coming back for more.
And let’s not overlook the on-site smokers, all that mouthwatering smoked meat is crafted right there in the heart of the wilderness.
During the sunny summer months, the Whiskey Jack transforms into a vibrant hub of joy, where folks gather to enjoy scrumptious food and delightful tunes.
I even caught wind that they host live music acts from all across Canada! While I may lack the ears to appreciate the melodies, I can certainly pick up on a fabulous atmosphere when I see one!

With our bellies bursting and spirits soaring, we departed with the knowledge that this little treasure is well worth every mile of the journey from Winnipeg to Perrault Falls.
