The unique Manatee Viewing Center in sunny Tampa Bay, Florida, is dedicated to the gentle giants of the ocean, the manatees!
Located on the edge of Tampa Bay, the viewing center is a warm haven for manatees during the cooler months.
They gather in the waters, and you could have the unique opportunity to witness their underwater ballet from the front row!
Unfortunately, on the day of my visit, the weather was too hot for the manatees to come out and play.
Manatees are not all you can see…not even close.
There are many fish species and, of course, air-borne feathered friends.
The expansive center boasts a network of trails perfect for a stroll.
These trails wind through lush coastal habitats, offering scenic bay views at every turn.
They are ideal for a duck like me to float around on, but also super easy for everyone to explore, whether you’re a curious kid or a wise grandparent.

There’s ample parking for your rubber ducky auto, a scenic picnic area perfect for a snack with a view, and restrooms that keep you feeling fresh and ready for fun.
Plus, the shaded seating areas are fab for a bit of relaxation during a day of exploration!
