Bob here, paddling my way over to one of the most delightful places in Parksville, British Columbia:Little Qualicum Cheeseworks and Farm!
As I float around the farm, I’m greeted by a flurry of friendly farm animals.
First up are my goat pals! Can you believe how playful they are? With their silly frolics and gentle nudges, these goats are ready to charm anyone willing to give them a pet.
And let me tell you about the calves! These little bundles of joy will melt your heart as they bounce around with soft, wobbly legs. I can’t pet them myself, being a ducky and all, but watching kids giggle as they interact with these fuzzy friends is a real treat!
Let’s dive into some educational fun at the Mooseum, the farm’s interactive exhibit!
If you’ve ever been curious about how milk transforms into delicious cheese, this is the place to be.
While I can’t join you in milking the cows (trust me, it’s not my feather!), the exhibits showcase everything from milking history to modern techniques.
It’s like stepping into a dairy farmer’s shoes, just without the real heavy lifting!

And don’t get me started on cheese-making! Watching the process as fresh milk turns into creamy cheese is simply delightful.
After you’ve soaked in all that knowledge, don’t miss out on a visit to the charming farm store!
You’ll find delectable cheeses crafted right on site and a treasure trove of local crafts and goodies.
From artisanal cheeses to scrumptious snacks, there’s a little something for every taste bud. My absolute favourite? You guessed it, cheese!
I may not have a stomach, but I can dream of indulging in those creamy delights.
Whether you’re there to pet the cuddly animals, satisfy your curiosity, or enjoy some tasty local treats, this farm promises a day filled with laughter and fun.

Never Miss A
